Hurricane Dean

It sounds very selfish, but initially we just felt miserable and annoyed that Hurricane Dean coincided with the start of our much looked-forward-to holiday in Jamaica.

Now we just thank God that we booked the dates we did - so that we're not already there.

Apparently the airports are full of poor people desperately trying to get flights off the island as a near-Category 5 storm approaches. They are closing the airports tomorrow.

Just awful and terrifying.
