Raincheck
We were supposed to go to the annual Massachusetts General Hospital clambake today. A clambake is a New England tradition, involving cooking clams, mussels, lobsters etc., in one big pile on an open fire.
Last year, S was in England..... but B went, and ate FOUR lobsters.
Anyway, we had just arrived at the event when the heavens opened - a real Boston downpour, with torrential rain, thunder, lightening etc.
So instead we repaired to the Top of the Hub cafe - 52 floors up - and enjoyed the novel experience of sitting INSIDE a thundercloud.
It was fun.
