Cling-film nappy

or, for Americans who read this blog: saran-wrap diaper.

A had to visit the paediatrician today, as her poor little tummy has not completely returned to normal since we all got that stomach virus over Christmas.

She was weighed and had her temperature taken, and deemed to be healthy, but S was instructed to switch her to soy-based formula, and put her on the 'BRAT' diet for a week (bananas, rice, apple sauce, toast).

And, since A's lovely paediatrician wanted to err on the safe side and run some tests....


...S was also instructed to put cling-film in the back of A's nappy, and given some little spatulas and 3 plastic bottles (which have to be put on ice before being brought back immediately to the doctor's).




Funny how nobody tells you about this sort of parental task, when you're all glowing and happily pregnant.

Seems to S this is definitely a job for a doctor.
