It's -13'C outside today. Blimey. And that is despite the fact that it's very sunny.
Air this cold hurts your lungs and eyeballs.
So here are our tips on making an outing in such weather:
1. Forget about any sartorial concerns.
2. Cover up ALL your skin..... and your eyeballs. Think burkha with sunglasses.
3. Obtain a pair of snowboots suitable for climbing Everest. And tuck your trousers into them.
4. If you haven't got an adequate winter coat, put on your ski gear. Don't be embarrassed - even if it's fluorescent pink, Bostonians will understand.
5. Do up all your buttons, zips etc BEFORE you open the door. You want to create a sealed bubble containing all your lovely body heat.
