surely went into our new double buggy, as it manages to be neither 12ft long nor 12ft wide, but instead cleverly stacks one's offspring vertically - meaning you can actually fit through a door/between tables in restaurants/into shop changing rooms, etc.

After a while of being a mum, you start to feel about your buggy the way you feel about your handbag.

It says something about you, and moreover, if it is in some way impractical, it REALLY irritates you, because you have to use it all the time.

Having now realised this truth, we spent three times the time researching our second buggy as our first, and twice as much money.

It had better not let us down....
