Valentine's Day

It's surprisingly difficult to buy a greetings card in America which meets British tastes.

Judging by the available choices, Americans are, shall we say, less coy about expressing their sentiments, and more forthright about their colour preferences.

S understands this.

Does that excuse THIS Valentine's card from B?

No.

On the other hand B also had up his sleeve some beautiful roses and a book of poetry by Rowan Williams (who, in case you didn't know, is not only the Archbishop of Canterbury, but also a proper Welsh bard and Eisteddfod druid, and so lovely they have even made a teddy bear of him).
