Cruising

At special request, here is a video update of A's progress towards standing independently and walking - i.e. nearly, but not yet.

Here in the US they call it 'cruising', when a baby walks by holding on to the furniture. We are not sure what the proper term is in the UK, or if there is one at all.

But then, we've started using Americanisms instead of perfectly good English words.... even when it's just the two of us at home. Some of the numerous examples include saying gas instead of petrol, store instead of shop, parking lot instead of carpark, pants instead of trousers, and diapers instead of nappies.

We're slowly going native.
