Sleeping and waking

B's birthday present to S was a wonderful gizmo - an iPod docking station/alarm clock which means she can

(a) enjoy listening to her iPod regularly for the first time since becoming a mother and

(b) choose precisely which song to awaken to - hmmmm, the nasal emanations of Nelly Furtado, the masculine barking of Missy Elliott or the gentle strumming of Natalie Imbruglia?

So much choice, S is happily overwhelmed.

B however is a bit sleep-deprived.

He has a big deadline on his current case, and the last couple of nights have been very late, only to see him setting the iPod gizmo for 6 am.

However today he finishes at 3pm, and will be heading home for a nap, a curry and a DVD (the perfect evening in the Horner household).
