Niceville

We've just spent a few days staying with our good friends K and C, who we met in Boston, but who now live in Niceville.

The town is next to a beautiful white beach in the Gulf of Mexico, so we've been out paddling in the very warm water.

Yesterday we went to a restaurant for a gargantuan Deep South barbecued meat-fest, served with sweet iced tea, macaroni cheese and cornbread - which was delicious.




















And today, we rented a boat, bought a baby lifejacket, and spent the afternoon exploring the bayou.




































It's been fab.
